Sonic Youth en Lima: 10/11/2011
Tengo el agrado de anunciar la confirmación del concierto en Lima de los neoyorquinos de Sonic Youth para el 10 de noviembre de este año. La noticia ha sido anunciada en la página oficial de la banda. Las entradas saldrán a la venta el 21 de setiembre. Simplemente genial!!!!!! Pronto más noticias.

VDS: Interpol - Barricade
Interpol se une a una de las tantas bandas que no ha podido vencer el trauma de su disco debut. Así, después de su estupendo y bailable disco debut, llamado Turn On the Bright Lights (2002), su siguiente producción, Antics (2004), apenas estuvo cerca de igualar la genialidad del primero. Si nos detenemos y analizamos la circunstancia expuesta, se podían preveer dos escenarios: 1) Que la banda supere sus producciones o, 2) Que la banda empiece a jugar con los fantasmas de sus anteriores discos.
Sin embargo, sucedió lo segundo. Sus dos siguientes discos, Our Love to Admire (2007) e Interpol (2010), mostraron un bajón en cuanto al proceso creativo. Se noto el disfuerzo de la banda por producir discos iguales a sus antecesores y en ese juego de fotocopiar lo anterior, pues no les salió como querían. El video publicado arriba pertenece a su último disco, Interpol (2010). Comparen y decidan.
